I remember playing this game not too long after it came out... I have found many great experiences and moments because this game opened my eyes to a whole world of worlds that were eager to be explored.

this is an absolute aesthetic and i loved the atmosphere and the character you play

games where you explore forgotten immense structures build for an unknown purpose are my jam

and playing as a knight statue to boot

Beautiful and eerie, profound sense of loss, but with a glint of longing and deeply sorrowful melancholy that complements very unique 3D art direction. A gem.

I played this back on March 5 and I absolutely fell in love with the story, atmosphere, and the brave hero. The music and sound effects in this game are amazing as well. I can't wait to play future installments! Excellent work! I really love games like this that are different.

Amazing sound and atmosphere!  I also love how artistic and poetic everything was.  I'll definitely be giving it another run at some point, because I'm curious about what will happen when I do certain things differently.  Fantastic work! ^w^

I've been aware of this game since the first time I saw and experienced it three years ago. I'm coming back to play this unique experience again. I really hope that you're still working on "Tower of No One". if that's the case, are you going to release it anytime soon?

Hi! I am, but it's taking an awful lot of time, I can't say when it'll be finished since I'm just fixing technical issues now but I don't have a lot of time myself. I still have persistence left in me though so it will come. Thanks for coming back!

I had the urge to revisit this gem and I'm thrilled to hear you're still working on the sequel! I'll be looking forward to it no matter when it comes out :)

(Minor bug report - after beating the game, if you start a new game/continue without first exiting the program, the knight's movement speed and the speed of the text will be significantly slowed, leading to everything being desynced e.g. during cutscenes)

This is my third time playing this game and I love it. Really hyped for the next.

Also, was this game at some point called "Door in the sea" or something like that? In the game files I found the logo of 0_AbyssalSomewhere but also another one with a different name. I don't remember what it was exactly because I looked through the files a year ago after my second playthrough but I think that's very interesting

I played this game and me and my comunity liked it!

- It was quite a transcendental experience
- I was spooked by every sound in the game
- The atmocphere of this game is beyound any discription

I really like the character and world design. The harsh (non)functional brutalist world combined with ancient ruins long forgotten and unspoken by any creatures tounge.

me descargue el juego pero me dice "ERRO FATAL" "FAILED TO LOAD MONO" que es lo que hice mal o que es lo que me esta fallando espero alguien me puedas ayudar porque de verdad quiero probar este juego, y muchas gracias.

Probablemente lo solucionaste ya pero Mono es lo que hace que C# (el lenguaje que usa el código en unity) funcione. No se en que sistema operativo estás ni nada pero es muy probable que tengas que instalar mono.

Espero haber ayudado aunque sea tarde

This is literally life changing holy molly i just played this in 2021 im so glad i found this game.The english language is woafully insuficient when tasked with the challenge of attributing the correct vernacular towards describing the magnificense of the experience of playing this game.No greater mystery has ever captivated my attention quite like the mechanics of this game.The said game held my hands so tightly that my bones shattered mere moments after opening the game from the pure feeling of ascention i felt by it,but yet there was warmth , a warmth that spread from my devastated desires.I yearn  for that warmth to touch me once more in the future on a newer project of yours.Cant wait!

I played this for the first time in sep of 2018 and since then I've played it half a dozen times and sent it to multiple friends. I am absolutely in love with this project and I hope to play 000_towerofnoone one day. :)

Incredible experience, lush and haunting and still. Like playing a luxurious inkwash illustration. Also one of the few games that you could adequately describe as "Angel's Egg"-esque, which is a real achievement.

This is hands down one of the greatest atmospheric games I've ever experienced. I would replay it regularly but recent update to Mac OSX Big Sur seems to have broken it (icon jumps in the dock infinitely). Any chance for a fix? Thank you in advance!

Fantastic and incredible, there are no words to describe how many things can be expressed in such a short game.

Just one question, at the lower left corner of the screen, there is a rectangle of 1x2 white pixels everytime, is thar on purpose?

A few bugs I found:

1. Softlock at Bridge (Attack over edges to launch out of bounds)
I happened to stumble upon a softlock. At the big bridge you can attack over the edge to get a leaping attack, but you get sent flying so far that there's no respawn trigger, so you keep falling forever (well I only stuck around for about 1 min before got fed up). I'm sure there's a bunch of these possible in other places as well.


2. Pixels of cursors remain visible on bottom left corner.

My cursor is always visibly stuck in the bottom left corner (you can barely see it in the video above as well), which is a bit annoying.

3. If you press ESC to pause the game in the final section of the game, you will have 2 set of "Quit{Y) Go back {Esc)" 

The first ESC press will replace the text that scrolls telling the final part of the story, then when pressing ESC again you are still paused with even bigger texts alongside the normal one. So you need to press Esc 2x times to unpause in this section of the game.

Hey, first of all thank you, really helpful for you to take the time to tell me about the bugs in detail.

1. I didn't know this one was possible, it'll be easy to fix so thank you again.

2. I'm not sure what you mean, there's a white single pixel in one of the corner of the screen usually, which may be what you mean (can't see it in the video) since the actual cursor is invisible,

3. This one may be harder to fix, I may leave it in there for now since it's not game breaking.

2. Yeah, that white pixel in the corner is what I'm referring to (I kinda just assumed it was a part of my cursor).

3. I mean there's no reason to even pause during the end anyway, but I like to try stupid stuff haha. I just mentioned it in case it was a simple fix, so it's no big deal really if it doesn't get fixed.

But you're welcome, these were just some stuff I stumbled upon while playing. I really like the game and I'm looking forward to futures installments in the series :)

this game looks really cool but somehow it quits after i click start..downloaded from itch directly

Someone else had this problem too, can you usually run other unity games in 3D without much issues? To be honest I'm not sure why this would happen, but I believe it has something to do with the shaders in the game and the graphic card

yep most other 3D/unity games (at least those I've downloaded from itch) are fine - but my mac simply doesn't do well on games lol

i just dl the game and i have the same issue, running macos v11.5.1. looking forward to being able to play it

Unfortunately, same issue here on macOS Catalina (10.15.5). Main menu loads but application quits when I click either "zero start" or "continue". sadge. Usually don't have issue running Unity games (I actually develop on this machine). Will try on another Mac! Very excited to see what you've made.

Oh that's good information. From what I've gathered about Mac it's probably a permission's issue. When you click on start or continue a binary save file is created and maybe Mac doesn't  like that. I wonder if there's a way to authorise it? Otherwise I could disable saving for Mac builds (but it's bound to be a problem for the next game). Thanks for reporting it
